webuyblack.com is an online marketplace for black owned companies to sell their products. In a few weeks, they will host their inaugural convention at the Cobb Galleria Centre in northwest Atlanta that will bring together over 100 black owned vendors for two days of shopping, concerts, and workshops. Attendees will be able to learn about topics ranging from manufacturing to investing and apply to participate in business counseling sessions as well as a hot sauce and pitch competitions. There will also be an area with a bounce house and Black children’s books for the little ones. I am looking forward to being able to both shop in the marketplace and learn in the workshops.
