I honestly do not remember how I found this Black-owned bakery, but I am forever grateful that I did.
Located in East Atlanta, Endulge Cupcake Boutique shares space with another Black woman-owned business. It is a cozy space and while I typically will grab and go, there is some seating and lots of windows to allow for natural light if you choose to enjoy your cupcake in the shop. There is also a drive-thru option for those who know what they want but may not have time to dine in or who would just rather not leave their car.
I thoroughly enjoy all things cupcakes and, honestly, these are some of the best cupcakes I have ever had. Endulge cupcakes are incredibly moist–even if you save them for a day or two–and are perfectly flavored. They offer about 12 daily flavors which include Red Velvet, Salted Caramel, and Banana Pudding. I have had their Chocolate Peanut Butter, and you will not go wrong with this choice. They offer daily specials like Sweet Potato Pie on Thursdays and German Chocolate on Sundays, and monthly specials like Margarita in May and Gingerbread in December. For the adults, there are alcohol-infused cupcakes on the weekends, like Tipsy Turtle, which I can only describe as amazing and quite possibly my favorite cupcake period.
Regular cupcakes are $3.25. Liquor-infused cupcakes are available on the weekends for just $3.50 each and are worth every penny. Mini cupcakes are available on Mondays for $1.25 each, but you can call in a minimum order of two dozen minis any other day of the week.
Everyone that I have interacted with has been very sweet. I always leave Endulge feeling great.
The only downside to Endulge is how far it is from my house. I have driven over 30 minutes for Endulge cupcakes and I can promise that I would (and will) do it again. I love these cupcakes, and I absolutely recommend that you indulge.
